1. Frame size of bike
When buying a sports bike, the first thing to pay attention to is whether the size of the frame is suitable for the rider's body. Frame size measurement is generally based on the length of the frame riser, and the longer the riser, the longer the body length of the frame.
You can also sit on the seat cushion and place your feet up and down on the pedals. The lower legs can naturally hang down and straighten. Such a height allows the feet to have ample space to stretch when stepping. The frame size of general road bikes is usually one size per two centimeters for mass-produced frame brands, and one size per centimeter for high-end handmade frame brands. From the central axis of the (large chainring) to the center of the upper pipe riser joint, it can gradually increase from a minimum of 47 cm to 62 cm, a total of 8 or 16 sizes. We can use the length of the span × 0.65 = the length of the frame riser, the above formula to choose the road frame size that suits our height.
For off-road vehicles, the size from the center axis to the center of the upper pipe joint is 1 size every two inches. As the size interval of the frame size, it can be gradually increased from 14 inches to 22 inches, a total of 5 sizes.
Due to the large distance between the size of the mountain bike, it is impossible to measure the size of the frame suitable for the rider with an accurate formula calculation, and only a roughly suitable frame can be selected for riding based on the height.
Taiwan usually uses 14, 16, 18 inches, and the riders are suitable for riders based on their height. Approximately 14 inches is 155 cm or less, 16 inches is 155-170 cm, 18 inches is 170 or more, as for those over 180 cm. Friends should try to find bicycles over 20 inches.
